Aada Agnarsson, a young Viking woman, was born into a quiet farming village of Midgard, in the Realm of Mankind. She loved listening to her people’s tales of exploration through poetry and the sagas. Oh, how she dreamed of sailing on a sea voyage to explore distant shores like her ancestors!
One day, Aada stumbled upon a large glowing sunstone at the ocean’s edge. Sunstones were used to navigate across the open sea. She stood tall and lifted the stone toward the sky, hoping to find direction for her life, when suddenly an ominous storm began. The sea swelled, and deep rumblings rang from the slate-gray horizon. As the thunder grew louder and the storm drew closer to the shoreline, she could hear Thor, the God of Storms and Protector of Mankind. In a thunderous bellow, Thor spoke to Aada, warning her that the future of Midgard and all of Mankind is on the brink of self-destruction.
When Thor proclaimed, “You must travel to the 9 Realms and find the key to save Midgard,” a lightning bolt struck the ocean, revealing Fable Bound, a magical ship floating on a patch of calm water surrounded by treacherous waves. “Board this ship to fulfill your density,” Thor boomed. “The Gods will help you. Trust in yourself and beware of storms of doubt and promises from tricksters. Let the stone guide you Home.”
Aada boarded the ship and set sail into the unknown.
Aada relied on the help of many Gods throughout her difficult journey. In times of darkness and doubt, Odin and his ravens helped her find safe passage. In moments of weakness, Aada’s prayers to Freya, the Goddess of magic and prophecy, illuminated her inner strength.
Loki, the God of mischief, appeared aboard Fable Bound during a powerful storm and offered Aada a shortcut to calmer seas. Intuition warned her against trusting the trickster God, but in desperation and weakness, she followed his advice. Now Fable Bound is off course, adrift in an ancient desert in the Realm of Burning Man.
Aada must let go of fear and doubt to save Mankind and find the courage to weather the storm.
